This is a drawing of a kitchen scene with two individuals leaning in to scrutinize a large cauldron being attended by a cook. The drawing is done in a caricature style. The room is detailed with items on the shelves and the cook in an apron is stirring the pot with a ladle. The other figures also appear engaged and slightly skeptical about the contents of the cauldron. Shadows and lines hint at a dimly lit environment, emphasizing the expressions and posture of the figures.
